My name is Selene I have practiced yoga on and off for many years but developed a

daily practiced over 6 years ago. My biggest adventure took me to India to practice with Saraswati Jois, the Ashtanga yoga master whose father established the Ashtanga system. Yoga has brought a sense of calmness and strength to my life which is why I practice and teach it. Please read on to see if it's for you.....

Class Description
All of the classes are fun and suitable for everyone to join in, please read below to find out which one is most suitable for you now, or give me a call on 087 7988726. Chair Yoga Weds 11am
This is a very relaxed class with a little chat at the beginning followed by a breathing exercise, a gounding meditation and then some gentle yoga either seated or standing. We finish with a yoga nidra, which is a relaxing meditation and also a balancing breathing exercise. The class is community donation based, which means that you pay what you can making it available to all. Ashtanga 60 & 90 mins class Tues 6:30pm Ashtanga yoga is a set sequence of movements and is taught class by class, each person moving through the practice at his or her own pace and level with guidance from the teacher. Generally beginners have a 60 min class and improvers 90 mins. Once a month we have a led class where the sequence is called out and everyone moves at the same pace. Yin yoga with mindfulness by candlelight Weds 6:30pm No effort is required for this style of yoga just relaxation, it is essential that you wear your most comfortable, warm, cosy clothes. It starts with a short meditation and then 4 or 5 poses either seated or lying down.

Early Morning Yoga
Before the day asks anything of you, there's this hour.
We arrive. We go quiet. We let the breath come first, before the body, before the mind starts its usual noise.
Slowly, we move.
Over a lifetime we gather layers — who we are at work, who we are at home, who we are for everyone else. In this hour, we get to set them down. Just for a while. Just enough to remember what's underneath them.

We breathe. We strengthen the body, the nervous system, and — quietly, underneath both — our sense of who we are before the world gets its hands on us.
Then we go back out into the day. Steadier. Stronger. A little more ourselves than we were an hour before.
If your mornings could use an hour like this, come find out.

Thank you so much for everyone who came today and a special thank you to those that helped. It was such a lovely morning and I truly loved sharing what I have learned with you. I know it brought some deep peace and hopefully you have some new tools to help you let go of what does not serve you and to trust that you know what is best for you.

I'm looking forward to the next event already, hopefully at the end of October or the first weekend in November.

Again, thank you😘

When I was in my 20s, a death in my family shook me so deeply that, for reasons I couldn't explain, I felt I needed to practise yoga. I knew nothing about it then — I just knew it was something I needed to do, so I wouldn't lose myself.
I practised on and off for years. Then, in my 40s, illness brought me back.
I was raising young children, exhausted all the time, surviving on very little sleep, and wondering how I was going to be a good mother, never mind a good version of myself. So I trained to become a yoga teacher.

Yoga was the thing that calmed everything down. It gave me energy I didn't know I had left. It became something that was just mine, in the middle of everything else.
That's the reason I teach.

Not because yoga is a miracle cure, but because taking even a small bit of time for yourself can change so much.

And I'd love to share that with you.
