The process started over coffee and discussing ideas, then there was the diy, and finished with the calm and cosy ambiance. There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes, and this summer project was a favourite of mine because I was able to collaborate with a friend ✨

september conference in Ios Greece.
The focus was on endometriosis, the research, and the osteopathy techniques and rationale for utilising them. Each day is filled with anatomy, theory, and practical techniques.

These conferences offer the opportunity to meet Osteopaths from many countries, including Canada, Austria, Germany, Egypt, Switzerland, Wales, Poland, England, Norway.

In June I abseiled 170ft from Croke Park Stadium, and I don’t like heights!

As a member of I was excited to take part in the opportunity and raise funds for a great charity, .

Thank you to the clients that donated to the charity event, €150 was raised from your kind donations.

I closed the clinic on Friday 27th June, after seeing 3 early morning appointments, and I headed into Dublin to Carole Park Stadium.
It was a great experience, one I’ve wanted to do for about 10years. I played club GAA with Clane before moving to London for Osteopathy training. I never had the honour of playing in Croke Park but I can say I abseiled in Croke Park 🙌

.ie were very reassuring to me as I admitted I don’t like heights while climbing out over the guard rails moments before pushing my feet off the steelworks and into thin air..

Molinari Institute of Health Seminar

Day 1-3 Psychosomatic Osteopathy with .liem. Torsten is an osteopath from Germany.

Day 4-5 The Autonomic Nervous System An Osteopathic Approach with René Zweegijk. René practices Osteopathy in the Netherlands.

This year more than 30 osteopaths attended the seminar, travelling from Ireland, Austria, Norway, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Australia and England.

It’s a week of learning neurology, anatomy, theories, learning practical applications for assessment and treatment technique, and sharing experiences. This year’s focus was on the body’s response to stress and trauma. How we co-regulate and the resources available to us.

It is my second year to attend the seminar in Ios and I was delighted to meet some familiar faces that I met at last year’s seminar. It’s continuous professional development with the added benefits of the sunshine, sea and Greece ☀️☀️ ♥️

Exciting news ✨ there’s a new location for Kildare Osteopathy at the Premier Business Centre Block C, Osprey Devoy Quarter, Naas W91X40k

In February I stepped away from work for a few weeks and it lasted longer than anticipated- but I needed the rest, I needed to reevaluate and to plan, and the biggest change was the moving clinic locations. I’m excited to start a new chapter in a new location. There is lots happening behind the scenes with plans for courses, conferences and travel.
