**Update Storm Eowyn**

In line with government advice and to protect staff and patients, Abbey House will be closed on Friday morning. We plan to reopen in the afternoon at 12.30pm. Appointments scheduled for the morning will be rearranged.
We apologise for any disruption caused.

Easter opening hours

Abbey House will be open from 8am until 1pm Good Friday.

Out of hours cover over the Easter bank holiday will provided by our colleagues in Northeast Doctor on Call.

We will reopen again at 8am on Tuesday 2nd April.

North-East Doctor on Call provides an urgent out of hours GP service to patients in Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. We operate from 6PM-8AM Monday to Friday and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays. NEDOC provides out of hours GP services when your own surgery is closed.

Update: electricity has been restored but our computer servers are not functioning. We're working hard to restore normal service.
Unfortunately all Monday morning appointments are cancelled but we hope to be back operational by this afternoon.

Our apologies again. We will reschedule all appointments and update as soon as possible.

Due to disruption in the Navan area from storm Debi we are currently without electricity or phone access.
As a result any appointments before 11am this morning are unfortunately cancelled and we will be in touch as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be a further update at 10am today. Please do not try calling the surgery.

**The practice will be open from Wednesday 28th December to Friday 30th December inclusive with an emphasis on urgent or acute medical problems.

We will reopen as normal from Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

We will be handing over to our colleagues in Northeast Doctor on call over the Bank Holidays.*

New public health advice is expected to be announced tomorrow. Close contacts who have received their booster vaccination will no longer have to restrict their movements provided they have no symptoms.

We are running COVID-19 booster clinics this Thursday 13th and Monday 17th January.

You can now book your booster appointment in Abbey House by using the following link. New dates are being added all the time so please check again in the future.

Given the current level of Covd19 in the community please do not attend if you any symptoms suggestive of infection.

**Please note there has still been no announcement yet regarding booster doses in those under 16 years of age. We're afraid we have no discretion on this matter as boosters in this age group have not yet been licensed by the EMA or NIAC**
