A huge well done to everyone who came along and took part in our special birthday event. With 108 people joining us, a great morning was had by all. A special shoutout to Sinead Broderick, who completed her 100th parkrun! It was lovely to see Sinead cross the finish line and celebrate this milestone with all her Up and Out Navan teammates. We hope you enjoyed the cake Sinead, made especially for you!!

A highlight of yesterday was seeing so many familiar faces who took part in the very first Navan parkrun on 17 October 2015 and are still joining us all these years later. A very special well done and a massive thank you to Carol, Ken, Olaf and Breda, who were part of the core team that volunteered at that very first event 11 years ago. Carol, Ken and Olaf continue to be a huge driving force behind Navan parkrun, helping make it happen week after week as both runners and volunteers. Meanwhile, Breda is now a Run Director and one of the driving forces behind our friends at Edwin Carolan Community parkrun in Mullagh. Thank you all for everything you’ve contributed over the last decade and beyond!
We’ll see you all next Saturday, and to those of you toeing the line at the Dublin Marathon next weekend, if you’d like to get your parkrun fix without the running, we still have a few Marshal spots available on our roster for next Saturday!
