Today is World Mental Health Day 🌟
When we talk about mental health, we’re not only talking about what happens when someone is struggling.
We’re also talking about the everyday experiences that help us feel safe, connected, understood and supported.
For children and young people, this can look like having space to play, express, wonder, move, create, talk or simply be.
It can look like an adult staying curious about what might be happening underneath a behaviour.
It can look like hearing, “All of your feelings are welcome here.”
For parents, caregivers and professionals, it also means remembering that your wellbeing matters too.
Mental health is something we nurture in the small, ordinary moments of connection, again and again, day by day.
