About yesterday…

This man, James Hunt James Hunt , went on This Morning This Morning to talk about Jude and Tommy, what it means to be their dad, write his book and SAA SAA Clothing Clothing.

As the screen filled with photos of the boys, their journey, and the life we’ve shared over the last 11 years since James pressed “send” on that very first post, I couldn’t help but feel emotional.

Those posts shone a light on autism. They showed the world how different Jude and Tommy’s lives are, and in turn, what life looks like for families like ours.

They opened conversations, built understanding, created community, and reminded so many people that they weren’t alone.

It all felt so full circle.

In that moment, I wasn’t just seeing old photos. I was seeing every hard day, every breakthrough, every lesson, every person who has stood beside us, and every family whose story deserves to be heard.

Our children matter. Families like ours matter. Our voices matter.

I couldn’t have been prouder of James yesterday. The advocacy that started with one honest post has helped build a community that reaches far beyond anything we could have imagined.

Forever grateful. Forever your biggest cheerleader.
Always standing right behind Jude and Tommy. ❤️

James I don’t think you ever truly see how lucky Jude and Tommy are. And how proud they feel every day that you’re their daddy ♾️

Mental Health Commission IRE

We want to hear about your experience of inpatient mental health care.

The first ever National Mental Health Experience Survey is now open to patients across all mental health hospitals and units in Ireland.

It is open to anyone over the age of 18 with an address in the Republic of Ireland discharged from a mental health hospital or unit between April and July 2026. Participants will receive an invitation letter in the post a few months after discharge.

The feedback received about people’s experiences of inpatient mental healthcare will be used to help shape and improve mental health services in Ireland.

The National Mental Health Experience Survey is a joint initiative of the Department of Health, Mental Health Commission and the Health Service Executive, facilitated by the National Care Experience Programme.
