The death has occurred of James Richard Mc Cann, Mitchelstown, Castletown Kilpatrick, Co. Meath, peacefully, at Navan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth, his sisters Mary and Sr. Dolores. James Richard will be sadly missed by his brother Joseph, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Reposing at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth (Eircode A92 TW68) on Monday 18th May from 3pm until 6pm followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Castletown KP, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12:30pm with burial afterwards in local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Florrie (Margaret) Maguire (née Proudfoot), Dunroe, Nobber, Co. Meath, who passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Colum, parents Paddy and Eileen, and sisters Geraldine and Ann.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children Ursula (Pat), Bernie (Paul), Brian (Marcella), Margaret (Francie) and John, her much-loved grandchildren Lisa, Rebecca, Dylan, Megan, Ryan, Leona, Adam and Seán, her sisters Mary, Elizabeth, Josephine and Bridgie, brothers John, Pat, Frank, Jimmy, Joe and Tom, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (Eircode A82 R3W2), on Thursday from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 12.00 noon in St. John the Baptist Church, Nobber, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Dympna McGahon (née Sheerin), Knightstown, Wilkinstown, Co. Meath, who passed away peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, surrounded by her loving family, 10th May 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Jack, her parents Edward and Bridget, brothers Ned, Paddy and Jemmy, sisters Ann and Maggie, sisters-in-law Nancy and Ann, and her grandnephews Jack and Brendan.

Dympna will be very sadly missed by her loving daughter Colette, sons Barry and James, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Eva, grandchildren Mark, Conor, Alana, Grace and Evan, her sister-in-law Nuala, brothers-in-law Pat and Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Mai Ryan (née McEntee), Alexander Reid, Navan, Meath, C15Y1X3, formerly of Nobber, Co. Meath, at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her beloved husband Arthur, and her loving children Morgan, Aisling, Maurice and Ricky.

Sadly missed by her loving family; sister Jacinta, sister in law Breda, her late brother Sean, sister Phyllis, daughters in law Gillian and Mary, and her fabulous grandchildren Poppi, Autumn, Ruby, Liam, James and Emma, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Dolores, his children Jacqueline (Adrian), Dermot (Noeleen), Kevin (Margaret), Caroline, Olivia (Daithi) and Geraldine (Anthony), his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers Gerard and Francis, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Jimmy Tallon was one of Nobber’s greatest characters, a true legend. From pitch and toss, to a wee flutter on two spiders going up a wall, Jimmy would always be there. Whether it be his pastime, painting, or an odd job here or there, Jimmy would always help you out. He will always fondly be remembered in Nobber.
