Sleep apnoea is a potentially very serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. If you snore loudly and feel tired even after a full night's sleep, you might have sleep apnoea. It is a very under diagnosed condition with serious implications.
Check out the symptoms below and the risk factors and see a GP if you have concerns.

There are long waiting lists for sleep studies in hospitals and if you are concerned you can get screened in Goatstown Pharmacy who are doing screening in conjunction with a consultant, where they arrange a home sleep study. I have a patient who used it, really delighted to get on the first step to help.
