It’s lovely to see student teachers completing the online Story Massage Programme training and bringing calm, connection and creativity into their teaching practice. 💚

This fabulous video came in from Síofra, a third year student teacher in Dublin who has a real passion for children’s wellbeing. She shared this thoughtful feedback:

“The importance of presence is what I have taken from this training. You can create the most amazing, interesting, exciting Story Massage ever, but if you are not present in your delivery, the child can’t receive the true grounding from the experience. I enjoyed watching the different examples of Story Massage in videos throughout the course.”

Completing the training can also strengthen your CV when applying for roles after qualifying, showing your commitment to wellbeing and giving you practical skills to bring to your work. 🌟

Story Massage is a lovely way to bring our imaginations to life. You don’t need to think of a whole story. Just add a little spark of creativity! ✨

“One windy Halloween night, a little pumpkin heard a knock at the door…”

One of my favourite parts of running the Story Massage Programme training is seeing the creativity that shines through in the final assessments. Each learner creates and records their own massage story, bringing together everything they have learned. 💜

🎃👻Halloween can bring BIG feelings for little people !

Excitement, nerves, unfamiliar costumes and unexpected noises can feel like a lot, even when children are looking forward to the fun.

The Story Massage Programme offers a familiar moment to pause, connect and settle. Some children may need a safe space to unwind and share how they are feeling.

Story Massage may bring a little connection amongst the Halloween excitement 🎃👻

I’m delighted to have been invited to the annual conference on Monday 16th November to share the Story Massage Programme through short workshops to give people chance to experience a massage story and ask any questions.
I will be available to ask questions about our online training & in person training options for schools.

I was very lucky to work in the amazing Nurture room in St James Primary school in Dublin 8 which taught me so much through the fabulous children and staff 🌈💗
