Darkness can settle so deeply within a soul that even the promise of dawn feels unreachable. Tonight, we think of all those who walked through silent battles unseen by the world, carrying pain too heavy to name, longing for even the smallest glimmer of hope. For every soul who stood in the shadows believing no light would ever find them, may we remember them with compassion, tenderness, and love. And may their memory remind us to be a light for one another — a hand held out in the dark, a kind word, a listening heart — because even the faintest light can guide someone home.
