One of the most overlooked but hugely beneficial aspects of practising yoga outdoors (whether on a beach or a beautiful lawn like the one at Brookhill House in Goresbridge) is it provides a safe accessible way for people to step off their yoga mat and still be able to practice safely. Apart from the well researched health benefits of walking barefoot on a natural surface, the act of stepping off the mat is hugely freeing, it may make you look at your yoga mat in a different way, less as a restrictive space containing your practice and more as a jumping off point to go deeper into more natural movement paradigms.
This year will be the first time in four years that we will not be able to mark the summer solstice with a special free outdoor yoga class. So instead we had a pre- solstice free yoga class last Sunday, and we were blessed with the weather. We are continuing every second Sunday at 930 at a location which is weather dependent( we will practice indoors in case of bad weather).
We are also continuing with our post class sauna session at 11am, which is a fabulous way to round off the morning. The combined cost of the yoga and sauna is 22Euros pp while the yoga on its own is 10Euros ppπππ
Booking is essential for this, go to the links in our bio - you can either book the yoga and sauna together or just the yoga from a separate page. As we get closer to the day and the weather forecast becomes clear I may be able to release more spots for the yoga class, so its well worth adding yourself to the waitlist if it is full.
