As I leave Moate after the final Group Process of the 2025/26 academic year, the weather may be miserable, but I leave with a very full heart.

This little train felt like a fitting image. 🚂

We are all on our own journey. Every journey is different. Sometimes we stay on track, sometimes we pause, sometimes we step off for a while and sometimes we need connection while other times we need space.

This year, I witnessed real courage, vulnerability, honesty, acceptance and growth.
I witnessed people taking risks, challenging old patterns, finding their voice, and learning to trust themselves a little more.

A lot of work has been done.🥰

And for those who were not able to be present this year, please know you were held in the hearts of many.❤️

As you move into the summer, take time to pause, recalibrate, and let the year that was percolate.
Honour your own pace, your own path, and your own lane.🌻

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Much gratitude . 💌✨

As we move into the weekend, this quote, often attributed to Confucius, feels like a gentle invitation:

“The more you know yourself, the more you forgive yourself.”

The more we come to know ourselves, the more we begin to understand the patterns, protections, fears, needs, and younger parts that have shaped how we move through the world.

Self-knowledge is not about finding another reason to criticise ourselves. It is about meeting ourselves with more honesty, compassion, and responsibility. ✨

Forgiveness does not mean excusing everything.
It does not mean avoiding accountability.
It does not mean pretending our choices have no impact.

But it can mean softening the shame that keeps us stuck.

⭐️ A quiet reflection for the weekend:
What part of yourself needs less judgement and more understanding?

I’m excited to share that I have launched my new page, Michelle Fahy Celebrant. ✨

This feels like a natural extension of the work I have always loved, creating meaningful spaces to honour love, loss, connection, and life’s important transitions.

You can be highly skilled at helping others find clarity, navigate uncertainty, and take meaningful action.

Yet when it comes to your own practice, things can feel very different.

Many therapists find themselves holding ideas, delaying decisions, questioning their direction, or waiting until they feel fully ready before taking the next step.

Practice with Clarity was created in response to that gap.

This is a small coaching group for psychotherapists who are building or expanding their practice and want more clarity, confidence, structure, and momentum in how they move forward.

Working within a small group offers more than support. It creates opportunities to learn from the experiences, perspectives, challenges, and insights of other practitioners. Often, hearing someone else articulate a struggle or breakthrough can bring clarity to our own work in ways that individual reflection alone cannot.

This is not supervision.

It is a practical and supportive space for practitioners who are ready to take responsibility for their growth and their practice.

If this resonates with where you are right now, I would love to welcome you into the group.

You are very welcome to complete the expression of interest form via the link in my bio, or send me a message if you would like to explore whether the space feels like a good fit.

For everyone beginning Junior Cert and Leaving Cert exams tomorrow.

This is one important door, but it is not the only door.

Take a breath tonight.
Do your best tomorrow.
One paper at a time.
One question at a time.

And remember, whatever happens, there will be other doors, other chances and other ways forward.

And to parents, guardians, teachers and supporters, your calm presence and belief matters too.

Wishing every student calm, courage and trust in themselves. 💛

“How is it almost a week already? 🫣

Last weekend, I completed Phase 1 of my celebrancy training with Entheos, .ie and this week seems to have flown by in a blur of work, reflection, and everyday life.

As the weekend arrives, I find myself wanting to slow down and make space for this experience to settle and integrate. 💫

What began as a quiet whisper many years ago is slowly becoming something real. The more I learn about ceremony, ritual, storytelling, community, grief, love, and belonging, the more I recognise how deeply this path aligns with who I am and the work I feel called to do.💛

I feel incredibly grateful for the learning, the people, the conversations, and the sense of connection that has accompanied this journey so far.

As I move forward into the next phase, I do so with an open heart, deep gratitude, and a genuine sense of excitement for what lies ahead.✨💫

With grá and gratitude,

Michelle ✨

One of the deepest impacts of narcissistic family dynamics is often the impact on a person’s relationship with themselves.

Over time, children learn to adapt in ways that help them maintain connection, safety, or belonging. These adaptations are often intelligent and necessary.

Yet what once protected them can later create distance from their own needs, feelings, instincts, and sense of self. Many also carry a deep sense of internalised shame, a belief that they are somehow not enough, too much, or fundamentally flawed.

For me, this is where some of the most meaningful therapeutic work happens.

Not helping someone become somebody different, but supporting them to reconnect with who they already are beneath the adaptations.

A clearer sense of self.Greater trust in their own experience.Permission to have needs. The courage to take up space.A growing freedom from shame.

This is where empowerment begins.

This is one of the themes I am particularly looking forward to exploring in the next Clinical Conversation on Narcissistic Family Dynamics. Michelle 💛

I see hearts everywhere. 💛

Not because life is always easy or perfect, but because I genuinely believe that when we slow down enough, shift perspective, or soften our focus a little, we begin to notice the quiet beauty and connection that surrounds us.

Even this lily felt like a small reminder to me this morning. A beautiful heart hidden, waiting to be found.

For me, being open to these little moments, signs, symbols, and feelings has always mattered. They gently pull me back toward presence, gratitude, alignment, and love.

Sometimes the world whispers softly to us.We just have to pause long enough to listen, and widen our perspective enough to see. ✨

Sometimes we become so focused on trying to get things right, keeping up, or understanding everyone else, that we slowly lose connection with ourselves.

This disconnection from who we are rarely happens all at once.

More often, it happens quietly through overthinking, self-doubt, exhaustion, adapting to what is expected, or constantly questioning our own experience.

And over time, it can become harder to hear our own needs, our own truth, and our own inner knowing beneath all the noise.

But your inner voice does not disappear.

It waits.

Patiently. Quietly. Steadily.

Waiting for space.
Waiting for honesty.
Waiting for you to trust yourself again.

Real empowerment is not about becoming someone else.It is about returning to yourself.

Not following the loudest voice in the room, but learning to honour your own.

Because your individuality matters.Your way of seeing the world matters. And the more connected you become to yourself, the more clarity begins to emerge naturally. 💛

Some dynamics do not just shape the session. They shape the practitioner’s experience of themselves afterwards.

You may notice:
• replaying conversations repeatedly
• difficulty trusting your response
• feeling emotionally “hooked” long after the session ends
• uncertainty that feels bigger than the actual interaction

These moments often hold important clinical information.
