Who We Are

Genuine Homecare is a Dublin-based, ISO Certified homecare provider operating under the HSE Approved Home Support Scheme. We've built our reputation on one simple belief: keeping the heart in the home. We look after our carers the same way we expect them to look after our clients.

The Role

You'll be supporting clients across Dublin with:

Personal care — bathing, dressing, grooming
Mobility assistance and light exercises
Meal preparation and feeding support
Companionship and emotional support
Health monitoring and accurate care records
No two days are the same. But every day matters.

What We're Looking For

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a care role
Experience supporting clients with dementia is a strong advantage
Living in Dublin — essential
Eligible to work in Ireland
Strong English, written and spoken
Valid GNIB card if applicable
Garda vetted (or willing to be)

Job Discription:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate care assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities. Providing companionship, and supporting clients with their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises
• Provide support with meal preparation and feeding
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in cleints health and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications in health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia
• Strong communication interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient nature
• Excellent Organisational and time management skills.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in similar role
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Strong written and spoken English
• Background checks and references
• Valid GNIB if applicable.
