Looking after yourself is a radical and selfless act. Our cup needs to be filled before we can hold anyone else. The way we embrace community and connection can soothe us when we are feeling burnt out.
Whether a friend, a dog, a therapist, a relative, a group...being together really matters.

This week, I was so tired, I took it easy...I really felt I needed the space. And so ironically, my own self care meant a delay to our piece together here around self care 😊🌿

📣 CALL OUT FOR POETRY SUBMISSIONS

Creative Places Tipperary Town invites those living in, from, or connected to Tipperary Town, of all ages, to submit original poems for the Poetry Trail / Slí na Filíochta as part of this year’s Tipperary Together Festival.

Selected poems will be displayed in Tipperary Hills, creating a shared celebration of voices, stories, memories, place, and imagination. 🌿

We welcome submissions in both English and Irish. ✍️

Open to those living in, from, or connected to Tipperary Town
Poems should fit on one page
Original work only
Any style or theme is welcome
Irish language submissions are encouraged
Poems must be suitable for public display

You may submit more than one poem; however, due to limited display space, not all submissions may be exhibited.
