Thankfully getting back to hiking!
This is a breathtaking hike with beautiful views of Strandhill and surrounding townlands.
Level - moderate hike ..the steps to Cairne are quite steep so be prepared and take your time. Balance required too for the steps . There are many 🥳
Entrance- use the Rathcarrick entrance for shorter hike....also your dogs are welcome through this route. Go from the woods carpark and back.The other entrance does not permit dogs to the cairn as there are sheep 🐑Also this route is not as well laid out.
