SURROGACY: NAVIGATING YOUR WAY THOUGH THE MINEFIELD

Today I joined Pat Kenny on Newstalk to look at the many complex issues couples face when starting the surrogacy journey.
My key message for people would be to talk to healthcare professionals in Ireland before you choose a clinic or sign an agreement with an agency.
We want couples to get the best, safest care that will give them their ultimate desire- a baby.
Staff at The Scotia Clinic include counsellors and fertility specialists to advise couples.

Joining Pat Kenny on Newstalk this morning to look at the fallout of a very sad surrogacy case in the US where parents and the surrogate are embroiled in a legal battle about the future of the baby.
I plan to highlight the importance of couples doing good research before travelling the road of surrogacy and IVF abroad.
