Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Resuscitation Training Officer!
📍 Location: Bon Secours Hospital Tralee
🕒 32 hours per month

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to take on the role of Resuscitation Training Officer (RTO). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver resuscitation training programmes, support best practice in cardiac arrest management, and contribute to the highest standards of patient care across the hospital. The role is part-time (32 hours per month) and based at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, delivering, and evaluating resuscitation training, maintaining training equipment, supporting staff development, and promoting continuous quality improvement in resuscitation services.
What you'll do:
• Plan, design, deliver, and evaluate resuscitation training programmes
• Maintain all resuscitation training equipment
• Support staff education and professional development
• Develop teaching resources and act as an expert resource within the hospital
• Evaluate and improve resuscitation procedures, techniques, and equipment
• Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team when on duty
Key Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
• BLS Instructor qualification and/or ACLS Provider certification
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute clinical setting (CCU, ICU, A&E, or similar)
• Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
