Sunday evening and I'm feeling organised for the week ahead. ๐Ÿ’š

And here's the thing...

*I'm trying to lose weight, but I'm not willing to suffer. ๐Ÿคฃ*

So this weekend included baked oats, roast dinners, pizza wraps and plenty of normal everyday food.

No special meals.
No expensive ingredients.
No cooking separate dinners for the family.

Just making small tweaks to the foods we already enjoy.

Because for me, losing weight has never been about eating less.

It's about eating smarter.

It's about finding ways to enjoy the foods you love while still moving towards your goals.

So tonight I'm going to bed knowing breakfast is sorted, lunch is sorted and dinner is sorted.

Future me will be delighted. ๐Ÿ˜†

Tonight's dinner was this absolute beauty ๐Ÿ‘‡

A pizza wrap topped with pizza sauce, lean ham, sweetcorn and a sprinkle of reduced fat cheese.

Now before anyone asks... the wrap is a Fibre Choice wrap ๐Ÿคฃ

A colleague brought them to a meeting and let's just say I may or may not have stockpiled a few for research purposes. Sorry not sorry! ๐Ÿ˜‡

Don't worry if you can't get the same wrap. A kids' wrap, Slimming World wrap or any wrap that fits your plan will work just as well.

This is exactly why I love Food Optimising.

Five chicken fillets, onions, peppers, tomatoes, lime and smoky chipotle seasoning all bubbling away low and slow in the Ninja. ๐Ÿ˜

One of my favourite things to do is fill the freezer with healthy, tasty meals that make staying on track easier when life gets busy.

A little bit of prep today means lunches and dinners sorted for the week ahead. Future Nora will be very grateful! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Can't wait to shred this up later and serve it in wraps, rice bowls, baked potatoes and loaded chips.

The house already smells amazing! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

What a week in group! ๐ŸŽ‰

Across my three groups this week, members achieved an incredible 162 lbs weight loss between them. That's over 11ยฝ stone gone in one week! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ‘

What made it even more special was that it didn't matter whether people attended in the morning or the evening, success was happening right across the board.

Last week, we took a deep dive into the topic of emotional eating. Together, we built our own emotional eating toolboxes, exploring practical strategies to help us navigate challenging moments without turning to food. The feedback this week was amazing, with so many members sharing how they used those tools to stay in control and make choices they felt proud of.

This week, our focus shifted to the next eight weeks. We imagined ourselves arriving at the next bank holiday weekend having stayed consistent, built new habits and taken small steps forward day by day.

The conversation wasn't about perfection. It wasn't about restriction. It was about possibility.

โœจ How would you feel after eight weeks of looking after yourself?
โœจ What habits would you have built?
โœจ What would you be proud of?
โœจ What could change if you simply kept going?

The answers in group were powerful.

More confidence.
More energy.
Better mobility.
Looser clothes.
Improved health.
Greater self-belief.

Most importantly, members left feeling empowered. Not restricted. Not deprived. Empowered.

Because lasting weight loss isn't about being perfect. It's about taking ownership of your choices, learning from setbacks and making the next choice a positive one.

I'm incredibly proud of every single member this week. Thank you for showing up, supporting one another and proving once again that small actions, repeated consistently, can lead to extraordinary results. ๐Ÿ’š

Here's to another week of building healthy habits, taking back control and creating the future you want, one choice at a time.162 lbs lost. One week. Three groups. Absolutely incredible. ๐Ÿ’š

This isn't a brag post.

It's a gratitude post.

Because the woman in the photo on the left never imagined she'd do some of the things the woman on the right has done.

I thought losing weight would change how I looked.

What I didn't realise was that it would change how I lived.

The marathons, the mountains, the adventures, the friendships and the confidence weren't things I did to impress anyone. They were things I genuinely wanted to do but never thought were possible for me.

The biggest thing I lost wasn't weight.

It was the belief that I couldn't.

The life we want doesn't appear overnight. It's built through the choices we make every day. Not perfect choices. Just small decisions, repeated often enough, that gradually take us somewhere different.

As a Slimming World Consultant, that's why I love what I do.

I've sat where many of my members sit now. I've struggled, doubted myself, started again and wondered if I could really change.

What I discovered was that this isn't about starving yourself or giving up everything you enjoy.

It's about learning how to enjoy normal, everyday food, fuel your body properly and build habits that support the life you want to live.

Nine days ago I decided it was time to stop drifting and start paying attention again. Not chasing perfection. Not cutting out foods. Just getting back to the habits that help me feel my best.
Today's menu:
๐Ÿฅฃ Breakfast: Almond Bakewell baked oats
๐ŸŒฏ Lunch: Chicken fajita-style wrap bowl packed with veg, beans and flavour
๐Ÿ› Dinner: Beef madras with rice and naan bread, making good use of the freezer stash
๐Ÿ’ช Gym session ticked off too.
What I'm most pleased about isn't any one meal. It's the consistency.

โœ”๏ธ Variety across the week
โœ”๏ธ Beans and pulses for fibre
โœ”๏ธ Lots of fruit and veg
โœ”๏ธ Protein at each meal
โœ”๏ธ Real everyday food
No expensive meal plans. No detoxes. No magic shakes.
Just food optimisation, a bit of planning, using what's already in the freezer, and making choices that support my goals more often than not.
Nine days isn't a long time, but it's long enough to start building momentum.
One meal doesn't change everything. One decision doesn't change everything.
But a series of good decisions, repeated over time?
That's where the magic happens โœจ
