Swelling is completely normal after lip filler. Straight after your appointment your lips can look 30–40% bigger than your healed result. This is due to trauma, fluid retention and increased blood flow to the area — not just the filler itself.
✨ Swelling peaks at 24–48 hours
✨ By Day 3 a large amount has gone down
✨ Final settled result is usually around 10–14 days
Day 3 already looks much softer, more defined and balanced compared to immediately after treatment.
