How loud is too loud? ๐๐
We live in a noisy world, but our ears have their limits! Sound intensity is measured in decibels (dB), and knowing the difference between โsafe,โ โcaution,โ and โdangerโ zones can save your hearing.
As shown in our Decibel Levels for Hearing Safety Poster in a Colorful Simple Style.png guide:
๐ข SAFE (0โ80 dB): Whispers, normal conversations, and rustling leaves. Keep it here!
๐ก CAUTION (80โ120 dB): Things like heavy traffic, hoovers, alarms, and your favorite music in headphones. These can become unsafe if you listen for too long.
๐ด DANGER (Above 100 dB): Power tools, concerts, and fireworks. These can cause immediate, irreversible damage to your ears.
Protecting your hearing starts with awareness. If you are entering a โdangerโ zone, donโt forget your ear protection! ๐ง
