CHINA 🇨🇳

Honestly not what I expected… in the best way possible.

Even with most of the trip spent working, every bit we got to see was amazing. Beautiful places, incredible food and some of the friendliest people. I never once felt unsafe.

Sometimes the picture we’re shown about places isn’t always the reality. From what I experienced, it couldn’t have been more different.

Very grateful I got to see even a small bit of it.

Made even better with my travel buddies

Female athletes were always capable.

They were just never fully supported.

Feirla was built to listen.

To support.

And to give them a choice.

For years, girls have trained, tackled, and competed in gear never made for them.
Gear designed for someone else.
Silence from brands.
Frustration from thousands of females.

We asked the question no one else did:
why wasn’t it ever made for us?

Today, that changes.

This is female-first performance wear.
Built for sport. Built for puberty. Built for staying in the game.

This is our future.
This is FEIRLA.

This isn’t just a launch.
It’s a movement.

RED-S isn’t just about missed periods or feeling tired — it’s about the body signalling that it doesn’t have enough fuel to function properly. Research shows that low energy availability affects bone health, hormones, metabolism, immunity, performance and more.

Have you ever felt off — not just in training, but overall? Cold, tired, getting niggles, mood dips, sluggish recovery? Those could be early warnings.

Swipe ➡️ to see what to watch out for. Fuel is more than food. It’s foundation.

It’s about being aware of low energy availability, not just in yourself but also your team mates , gym buddies , children and friends !

💭 Ever felt drained, struggled to recover, or had changes in your period while training hard?

You might be experiencing the early signs of RED-S — and you’re not alone. Nearly half of athletes show low energy availability, with 60%+ at risk in sports that focus on leanness.

Even just a few days of not eating enough to fuel your training can start disrupting hormones, metabolism, and recovery — before it even shows on the scale or in performance.

Awareness is key. Fueling properly is essential. 💪

Next up: we’ll break down how RED-S affects your body, what to watch for, and how it’s diagnosed.

I’d love to know if you find these posts helpful if so drop me a comment or message 🫶🏻

⚡ RED-S: The Silent Game-Changer ⚡

When your period stops — it’s not a fitness win, it’s your body asking for help .

Amenorrhea is common in active women, especially when training hard and fuelling light — but it’s not normal.

Missing periods means low oestrogen, slower recovery, higher injury risk, and lower long-term performance.
Your body deserves better than burnout.

💡 If you’ve lost your cycle, it’s time to rest, refuel, and reach out for support.

💪🏻 Your period is a performance marker, not an inconvenience.

Save this for later — or share it with a friend / teammate who needs to see it. ❤️
