Join PsyCare Ireland for NITE, a FREE, practical training programme exploring mental health, substance use, harm reduction and how to support someone through a difficult experience.

What a beautiful way to bring our festival season to a close: PsyCare Ireland’s inaugural Volunteer Wellbeing and Connection Weekend 💚

After a long season full of twists and turns, it was a joy to pause, spend time together and celebrate the wonderful people who make PsyCare possible. A heartfelt thank you to our organising committee for bringing the weekend to life, and to every volunteer, supporter and friend who has helped build this community.

We also got to celebrate bringing home the National Social Enterprise Award 🏆

Recognition of what can happen when people come together around care, connection and a shared belief that events and festivals can be safer and more supportive for everyone.

PsyCare is a beautiful force in the world: a community helping people when they need it, and working to change the culture of events and festivals for the better. We’re so grateful to everyone who gives their time, energy and care to make that possible.

As we head into the quieter months of winter, we’ll carry the warmth of this weekend with us.

The wheels behind the scenes will keep turning as we plan how to grow this wonderful community and organisation sustainably.

NITE Programme is back — with two more FREE dates this October 🌙💚

Designed for people who go out to clubs, gigs, festivals, parties and raves, NITE is practical peer-led training to help you feel more confident supporting yourself and others when something goes wrong on a night out.

We’ll cover how to support someone who’s distressed, common substance-related risks, looking after your own headspace, when to step in, when to get help, and practical ways to respond without panicking.

📍 DUBLIN — Saturday 17th October
11am–5pm, Teachers Club, Dublin 1
Delivered in partnership with MindHaven

📍 BRAY — Thursday 22nd October
10am–4pm, Youth Centre Hall, Bray, Co. Wicklow
Delivered in partnership with the Wicklow Local Community Safety Partnership.

Both sessions are FREE to attend and no professional background or previous experience is needed.
