Curiosity cabinet gemstone - Blue John
A rare variety of fluorite found only in the peak district of the U.K; it comes in striped colours of mainly purple-red, dark blue, and yellow and the name comes from the French “bleu-jaune” meaning blue-yellow. It is reputedly the most expensive and prized fluorite in the world and a gemstone said to bring order out of chaos.
Blue John is a stone to keep close when all else fails, in times of confusion with seemingly no solution, when there appears nowhere to run, hide or turn to for answers; when situations arise that seem to have no comprehension and no way out.
Blue John will bring a sense of deep peace and clarity of mind, a stone that will give you hope for the future and grounding as you search for a clearer path through difficult times. This is a stone that guides you toward answers and solutions and by teaching you to learn from within as you learn from the stone, giving you a way home.

'There are two sides to life, there must be dark to have light, negative to have positive and turmoil to know order; everyone has this duality within them, it is how the situations are resolved that ultimately decides a future pathway'.

Magnesite
Is a relaxing and calming stone; brings a deep peace but also has the potential to aid you with amazing changes in your life. This stone’s soothing vibration aids you to live your life in alignment with your hearts needs and aspirations, depending on what you need at the time. Its vibration may help you to love yourself and increase your level of self esteem and creates a positive attitude to life.
Magnesite can be helpful in bringing unconditional love in situations where one person in a relationship is suffering from addictions. It centres you, allows the other person to be totally who they are without being affected yourself in any way by their difficulties. Magnesite brings a calming effect to the emotions, promoting tolerance for emotional stress. It supports people who are nervous and fearful and helps them to overcome irritability and intolerance.
