In Memory of our Mothers

Daughters holding space
for our and all Mothers
and for one another.
Mothers weaving and knitting
an invisible cloak of
love around our circle
Anchoring us together
In our deepest connection
as we navigate a world
where they once walked
Mothers assuring us
their spirit lives on
their once beating heart
Beats through our hearts
Daughters holding space
for our and all Mothers
All Mothers holding space
For all daughters.

Words inspired by our gathering on the beach today

A balmy November Day, a month when the veil between world's is thin. Feel so blessed and grateful that and .life.healing were in circle for this sacred moment on the shoreline.

Next gathering second Wed in December @ 11am.

Grief can be a very isolating journey. It can feel like the world moves on and expects your grief to also move on. It doesn't matter how long it has been, loss is loss.

Please share with anyone that you think would like to join me 'in memory of our Mothers'. Or if you are interested, feel free to get in touch.

Also if you can't make it and you would like me to light a candle for you and your Mam. Put her name in the comments, and I will hold you both in my intentions.

I felt guided to create a circle of support within our community in memory of our Mothers. For people to come when they need time to be with others who are also navigating their way in the world without their Mam. To laugh, cry, reminisce, share stories, sit in silence, light a candle, be together. 2nd Wednesday each month.

What to bring
Tealight and jar
Chair/yoga mat
Dress warm with comfy shoes
Warm Drink

When a vision is born, meet Soul Van. When I started Heart Sanctuary, I had envisioned also having a space for people to come and stay to reconnect and reset away from a modern world. I hosted my first guests this week and I'm blown away by the 5 star review. As I worked on Soul Van this summer, I held healing intention for anyone who stays here that it nurtures mind, body and soul. It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has travelled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.

Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.

Journaling is one of my favourite early morning rituals, and of course, I especially love journaling outdoors. Research has shown that journaling as little as 15 mins just 3 times a week reduces anxiety and improves a general sense of wellbeing after just 1 month.

Don't ever put yourself under pressure for your wellbeing. It's counterproductive. So if you've tried journaling and it isn't for you, find out what is because your wellness matters and taking time for you will make a difference.
