The death has occurred of Madge O'Rourke (née Duffy, Murmod, Virginia, Cavan

Peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin on the 14th June 2026 in the loving care of her family & staff.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Patrick & Annie, brother Seamus, sister Ita and sister in law Mary.

A wonderful mother, who will be forever missed by her sons Jason & Seán, daughters Sheleen & Yvonne, grandchildren, Ryán, Emmett, Clare & Chloe, sisters Rose & Bridie,nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends & in particular her good friend Tricia.

May Madge Rest In Peace

Reposing at O’Dwyer's Funeral Home, Munterconnaght (A82C2N6) on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal on Thursday morning from O'Dwyer's Funeral Home for funeral mass at 11am in St.Bartholomew's Church, Munterconnaght with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, or donations if desired to HDU/ St.Monica’s Ward, Mater Hospital.

House Strictly Private At All Times Please.

The death has occurred of May Farrelly, formerly of Crossdrum Oldcastle, Co Meath. May passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of The Sheelin Nursing Home on 25th April

Predeceased by her parents, Terence & Kathleen, sister in law Nora & Mary Teresa. Sadly missed by her brothers John, Charlie, and sister Kitty (Shane), nieces & nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May May Rest in Peace

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr Anne Marie Gilsenan, the staff at The Sheelin Nursing Home for their exceptional care of May, former carer Sueanne Reilly, Fr. Ray & the Oldcastle community who looked out for May in her latter years.

Reposing at Oldcastle Parish Hall on Sunday, 26th April 2026 from 4pm to 6pm, with removal to St Oliver & Brigids Church Oldcastle, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday , 27th April 2026 at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
