Florrie in her two new pairs of ANNE & VALENTIN EYEWEAR

A punchy raspberry and a beautiful navy acetate, two quite different looks that suit her perfectly.

Born in Toulouse, Anne et Valentin was founded by two opticians who wanted to create eyewear that was a little different. Known for their distinctive shapes, beautiful colours and exceptional attention to detail, their designs are all about individuality and personality.

And speaking of Anne et Valentin, we're looking forward to our special in-store eyewear event next Thursday, 5th November, from 11am–4pm.

We'll have an extended collection of their French eyewear to explore, refreshments and a little gift with every purchase on the day.

Ann in L.G.R , and what a choice 💛

A powerful frame with an iconic shape, bold proportions and a design that will stand the test of time in a mocha crystal tone.

There's a nice bit of history behind it too. L.G.R named this piece after the founder's grandfather, Raffaello Bini, the man whose warehouse in Asmara started it all.

Gaye and Jane collected their new eyewear recently, and an eye for good design clearly runs in their family 💕

Gaye opted for ANNE & VALENTIN EYEWEAR : sculpted, glossy crystal acetate with a small spherical titanium hinge at each corner. Jane chose an edgy theo piece. Light, considered, and very her.

Finishing up the week with Skirmantas in Holy Smokes. A great name, and a frame that lives up to it 🔥

From Ørgreen's Sheet Titanium collection, this piece is cut, shaped and finished by hand in Japan. Pure titanium and beta-titanium make it light, strong and easy to wear all day.

On Thursday, 5 November, we'll be dedicating the day to one of our favourite French eyewear designers, Anne et Valentin.

Known for their beautiful colours, interesting shapes and thoughtful design, their frames are always fun to explore.

We'll have the full collection in store for the day, giving you a chance to discover some gorgeous pieces you might not normally see.

Finishing the week with Alex in Garrett Leight California Optical

A rich, deep cherry wood acetate with a strong vintage influence. This piece has a little more depth through the lenses, giving it a strong silhouette without looking oversized.

Hand-finished in Japan, with traditional rivet hinges, polished pins and Garrett Leight’s signature metal core wire running through the temples.

A great example of Garrett Leight’s Californian design approach, combining classic styling with the precision of Japanese craftsmanship.

Brian is well known around Wexford, and this year he's working behind the scenes at Wexford Festival Opera.

He's wearing Garrett Leight California Optical - a retro-influenced sunglass with a keyhole bridge, a strong acetate front and fine metal detailing at the temples. On Brian, it just works.

Tonight Wexford Festival Opera opens with fireworks lighting up Wexford quay. There's no better way to start. Wishing everyone involved a brilliant run. If you're in town, enjoy the show 📍
