Order of Malta Ambulance Corps is a major provider of first aid training, ambulance transport and community care services and assistance to other charities in most of the major cities and towns throughout the island of Ireland. Through our youth section, Order of Malta Cadets (a National Youth Organisation), we provide a full programme of youth development and sporting activities for young people.

Have you ever thought about making a real difference in your community? Now is your chance to find out what volunteering with the Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps Wexford Unit is all about.

We are recruiting enthusiastic people aged 16+ to join our team.

No previous medical experience is required—full training is provided.

Everyone is welcome, with a particular need for:
Drivers (B Licence and C1 Licence) &
Qualified Practitioners (EMTs, Paramedics & Advanced Paramedics)

Just a little bit wet for the Wexford FC v Bray Wanderers match at Ferrycarrig Park yesterday!

After weeks without a drop of rain, it was certainly a change of scenery. While the weather kept us on our toes, our were on hand throughout the match, ready to provide first aid cover if needed.

Our were out in force across the county over the weekend, providing first aid cover at fantastic events.

On Saturday, an ambulance crew travelled to Wicklow to provide medical cover at a mountain biking event, while another dedicated crew attended the annual Killurin Regatta, ensuring the safety of competitors, spectators and organisers throughout the day.

Absolutely delighted to welcome Pettit’s SuperValu St Aidans to the list of Public Accessible Defibrillators!

In Conjunction with Order of Malta Wexford, Pettit’s SuperValu have funded the purchase of an AED and AED Cabinet for the surrounding Community. An incredible gesture from the Store which will go a long way towards Saving Lives!

This brings us to a total of 16 Public Accessible Defibrillators in our Wexford Town Public Access Defibrillator Scheme, a fantastic number which continues to grow!

Keep an eye on our page as we get ready to announce the next AED location!

Another busy and rewarding weekend for our dedicated , who were proud to provide first aid cover at fantastic community events across County Wexford, helping to keep participants and spectators safe throughout.

Our members were on duty at a local equestrian event, ensuring competitors, spectators and officials could enjoy the day safely. Another crew attended the Rosslare Annual Field Day, providing first aid support throughout the celebrations.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time over the weekend. Your professionalism, commitment and dedication to serving the community never go unnoticed.

It's been a busy few days for our at Wexford Racecourse, providing first aid cover across two consecutive days of racing.

A special thank you to Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps - Waterford Unit for travelling to assist us over both days. Your support, teamwork, and camaraderie are greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you to our dedicated members for their continued commitment, professionalism, and willingness to give their time to keep everyone safe throughout both events. Also, great to have our Cadets out on duty too!
