Situated in the south east of Cork, Youghal has had a lifeboat station for over 165 years and the crews have been awarded six RNLI medals for gallantry. Today’s station operates an inshore B class Atlantic 85 lifeboat.

With Midsummer weekend upon us and one of the longest evenings of the year, there’s a great atmosphere around Waterford tonight. The city is busy, music is carrying through the streets, and people are making the most of the fine evening.

Our volunteers will be out on patrol along the quays and surrounding areas until the early hours, helping make sure everyone gets home safe tonight.
