I believe in Informed Choice during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum. That women deserve to have all the information about procedures commonly used, and their risks and benefits. While practicing as a midwife in Canada I also was a midwifery client during the pregnancy, birth and postpartum of my two children. Both of my births took place in my home, under the expert care of my midwives.
