*Pregnancy Circle*
Hi! We're Jordana and Lea, doulas and birth educators creating a supportive space where pregnant women gather to learn, share, and be together. The Pregnancy Circle takes place every six weeks or so, and our next meeting is on Friday, February 16th, from 10:00 to 11:30 on Adam Street in Jerusalem. There's a new topic at every meeting, and in this meeting, we'll explore "Bonding with Baby from Within." We'll learn about baby-parent connections in pregnancy, how to feel your baby's position, and more!
The cost for each participant is 80 nis (60 nis for doula clients of ours) and there’s no need to commit to more than one meeting at a time—although we’re sure you’ll want to come again once you try it! After the guided group meeting, there will be time to connect with each other and enjoy a relaxing morning together having coffee, tea, and snacks that will be provided.
Join our WhatsApp group for more information (link in first comment) or register directly by contacting Lea at 0584302519 or Jordana at 0585802732.

Had an amazing time at the Spinning Babies course today! I’m committed to helping YOU to have a more comfortable pregnancy and an easier labor by making more room for your baby in the womb and returning your body to balance. The revolutionary, research-proven method that Spinning Babies teaches is giving me excellent tools to do just that, and I can’t wait to put them into practice!

Thank you to my friend and fellow doula Shira Ben Atar Mizrahi for being my practice partner today! 😘

So, your due date is approaching and you’re getting ready for the big day. You can’t wait to meet the newest addition to your family! But have you packed everything you’ll need for the birth?

It’s a good idea to have a hospital bag packed by week 36-37, so you’re ready no matter what.

People often ask me what they should bring to the hospital when they go into labor. I provide my clients with a comprehensive checklist of everything you may want to bring for the birth and the first few days afterwards. Here are a few helpful items that you may not have thought to pack:

1. Food— Pack some nuts, dates, dark chocolate, or anything else you like that packs easily for a quick boost of energy when you need it most!
2. Flip flops/shower shoes— Easy to slip on, good to have for showering or walking around the maternity ward.
3. Comfortable clothes that are easy to nurse in— While the hospital will provide a gown for you, you don't have to wear it all the time! You may be more comfortable in your own clothes, and it might help you to feel more like a capable, strong new mother and less like a patient.
4. Soaps and lotions— using the hygiene products you like, with their familiar scents and silky feel can contribute a lot to your mood, wellbeing and comfort after birth.
5. Portable fan— whether battery powered or simply handheld, the cool breeze on your face and neck can be a huge relief when you get hot during labor.

What do you think is the most important thing to pack in your hospital bag? Let us know in the comments below!
