When I was reviewing the students course requirements for the doula course, I saw that several women were asking about any Jewish connections to the labyrinth. Well, it turns out there are! The labyrinth is a symbol that has been used in many cultures and it is also in ours🙂. This image is from the Farhi Bible which dates to 1366–1382. It was created by the Jewish scribe and artist Elisha ben Abraham Cresques. This is a lavishly illuminated Hebrew Bible from medieval Provence (or nearby Catalonia, depending on scholarly interpretation) and in it is an illustration of Jericho as seven concentric walls, inspired by the account in Joshua 6. Pretty cool!

אני דולה כבר למעלה מ־30 שנה ומלמדת יוגה להריון מעל 20 שנה (במרכז “פרפרים בבטן”לשעבר).

ההריון הוא תקופה עוצמתית ומשמעותית, אך גם אינטנסיבית לגוף ולנפש. אני מזמינה אותך להקדיש לעצמך זמן של חיבור פנימה, שחרור, הקלה בכאבים, חיזוק הגוף והכנה ללידה – לצד מפגש עם נשים נוספות שנמצאות במסע דומה.

השיעורים מתקיימים בקליניקה ברחוב בלפור 11, רחביה, וניתן גם להצטרף דרך זום.

סדרה חדשה נפתחת ב־3.7
6 מפגשים בימי שישי, 9:00–10:15.

בכל מפגש תרגול מלא ומעמיק המשלב יוגה, צ’י קונג, תנועה, נשימה והרפיה, לצד נושא מרכזי:

• נשימה
נשימה מיטיבה להריון וכלי משמעותי להתמודדות בלידה.

• ריקוד הלידה
ללמוד כבר עכשיו לנוע כפי שהגוף מבקש בלידה, כך שבזמן אמת התנועה תהיה טבעית ומוכרת.

• עבודה עם שרירים טבעתיים
כלי מופלא ללידה ולחיים, המאפשר להתחבר לחוכמה הטבעית של הגוף.

• רצף לתרגול בבית
תרגול פשוט ויעיל ליום־יום, להקלה על כאבים, חיזוק הגוף והגברת החיוניות.

• דמיון מודרך בשילוב תנועה ונשימה
כשמתרגלים מראש, הכלים הופכים זמינים וטבעיים יותר בזמן הלידה.

• הרפיה עמוקה
אולי אחד הכלים החשובים ביותר ללידה טובה, להתמודדות עם מתח ולחיים בכלל.

אין צורך בניסיון קודם, ואפשר להצטרף בכל שלב של ההריון.

עלות: 480₪ לכל המפגשים. התשלום מראש עבור כל הסדרה , דרך העברת בנקאית, אפליקציית תשלום או מזומן. אם את לקראת לידה ולא בטוח תספיקי הכל, ניתן לשלם 80₪ למפגש.

This week we had Shayna Judelman, an amazing herbalist, join us in the doula course. We tasted teas and tinctures she made, we learned a super nutritious tea blend not only for pregnancy but for all women at all ages. Of course there is red raspberry leaves in the mix! Herbs and women have an ancient tradition together and it felt like a real coming back home to be reminded of it. Thank you Shayna!

I want to tell you a bit more about the “Birth As A Journey“ Doula Training in English that I offer. I am very passionate about this course. It allows me to shine my light…Let me explain… when I first became a doula, I wanted to support, empower, inspire and bring compassion to women as best I could in order to make a positive impact in the world. It was my passion, my calling. I’m now 57, a new grandmother and in the throes of menopause. Time is precious. I want to shine brighter and make a bigger impact in the world of birth, parenting and personal growth (pregnancy/birth/parenthood is absolutely the fast lane of personal growth). This course is a space where all my personal pieces come together : birth, motherhood, nonjudgmental support, introspection, art, touch, yoga, chi qong, movement, somatic awareness, being in your center, meditation storytelling , women’s circles, working through fear and having self compassion. If these parts of me resonate with pieces of you, then this may be the course for you. I am grateful for the opportunity to train other women, young and mature women, to own and shine their light and make a positive contribution to this all encompassing journey we call Birth.
