A week ago, I came home from one of the most meaningful trips I’ve ever taken.

My daughters gifted me this trip to Greece.

Not because it was my birthday.
Not because there was a special occasion.

Simply because they wanted us to spend time together.

To my dearies… thank you. 🥰🥰

More than the beautiful places we visited, I’ll treasure the conversations, the laughter, the scare on the boat 😱🤪and the quiet moments we shared. I love you both more than words can express.

As I reflected on the week, I realized that the greatest gift wasn’t the trip itself.

It was seeing the relationship we’ve built over the years.

As parents, it’s so easy to become consumed by today’s challenges—the sleepless nights, the endless decisions, the moments when we wonder if we’re getting it right.

But parenting has never just been about getting through today.

It’s about building a relationship that will continue to grow long after childhood is over.

Our relationship certainly isn’t perfect. We’ve had hard seasons, we’ve disagreed, we’ve repaired, and we’ve grown together. But this trip reminded me that the thousands of ordinary moments—the moments of showing up, listening, holding boundaries with love, and staying connected—really do matter.

More than ever, I believe that the greatest gift we can give our children isn’t a perfect childhood.

It’s becoming the calm, intentional, and emotionally present parent they always know they can come home to.

This trip wasn’t a reward for perfect parenting.

It was a beautiful reminder that relationships are built over thousands of ordinary moments.

And for that, I am deeply grateful.

Most parents first come to me because of sleep.

They are exhausted.
Bedtime feels overwhelming.
Nights feel unpredictable.
Everyone in the home is depleted.

And sleep matters deeply.
When a child is not sleeping well, the entire family feels it.

But over the years, I’ve noticed something important:

While sleep is often the front door…
it is rarely the only thing parents leave with.

Because through conversations about sleep, we begin understanding so much more about the family system itself.

We begin noticing:
• how we show up in difficult moments
• how regulation affects the entire home
• how children respond not only to what we do, but to our presence
• how boundaries and connection can exist together
• how to become steadier and more intentional instead of constantly reacting

So yes — in the Quiet Nights Challenge we absolutely talk about practical sleep support:
bedtime, night wakings, routines, sleep associations, and independent sleep.

But we also go deeper than tactics alone.

The understanding parents gain carries with them into parenting both day and night.

If this is your reality right now, you're not alone — and you're not doing anything wrong.

In a time when so much feels uncertain, bedtime can be the one thing we count on.

I've spent 20 years working with exhausted parents who felt exactly this way. And almost every single one of them was surprised to discover that the shift they needed wasn't a new technique or a stricter routine, or adopting a better sleeper😂.

It was something much simpler — and much more within reach.

I'm running a live 4-day challenge starting April 13 where I walk you through exactly what that shift looks like.

Sometimes the biggest shift isn’t just in sleep—
it’s in how you feel as a parent within it.

This shares that so beautifully.

If sleep in your home has been feeling like a struggle lately, you’re not alone.

Many of the families I work with come in feeling exhausted, unsure, and overwhelmed by bedtime, night wakings, or early mornings.

And often, they’ve already tried so many things.

What we focus on here is a little different.

We look at sleep—but also at how you show up within it.
Your presence, your rhythm, your responses… and how all of that shapes your child’s ability to settle and rest.

Because sleep isn’t just about what you do—
it’s also about how steady and clear you feel as a parent in those moments.

Through my Quiet Nights approach, I help families create:
• calmer bedtimes
• more predictable nights
• and a clearer, more confident way of navigating sleep and daily rhythms

In a way that feels supportive—for both you and your child.

Right now, I’m guiding families through my Quiet Nights Challenge—a 4-day experience where we begin putting these pieces together in a simple and practical way.

If this feels like the right time for you, you’re very welcome to join us:

I think deep down, we all know that when connection feels compromised, separation becomes
harder.
No one wants to separate from their favorite person. Or from something that feels safe and
good.
But in order for connection to remain healthy, separation is not only inevitable — it’s necessary.
As parents, when we focus on separation itself, it can quickly become the “bad guy”
Something to avoid. Something to soften. Something to rescue.
But what truly makes separation easier is not focusing on the separation — it’s strengthening
the connection.
When connection is nourished in the moments where connection belongs, separation becomes
more tolerable. More natural. Less threatening.
Not because the child stops needing you.
But because true attachment creates the safety that makes separation possible.

As moms, we’re used to doing, and forget the importance of just being. When’s the last time you disconnected and allowed yourself to have fun with your child?
