Galilee Medical Center at the 18th Annual Health Policy Conference

Yesterday, representatives of Galilee Medical Center participated in the 18th Annual Health Policy Conference of the National Institute for Health Policy Research, held at the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv. The conference serves as a leading platform for discourse and presenting research, innovation, and initiatives that are shaping the future of Israel’s healthcare system.
A special source of pride was the Emergency Medicine session, chaired by Prof. Khetam Hussein, Deputy Director of Galilee Medical Center. The session also featured Dr. Danna Krupik, head of the medical center’s pediatric division, who presented a study examining activity patterns in the Emergency Department during a prolonged war at a medical center located near an active conflict zone.
As a frontline hospital, Galilee Medical Center has gained extensive operational experience in providing medical care under fire. We face emergency conditions on a daily basis and operate entire hospital departments within a protected underground facility. Our unique experience in maintaining life-saving continuity of care under complex and challenging circumstances has become an integral part of the professional knowledge we share at national and international forums, contributing to preparedness for future healthcare challenges.
Our participation in the conference reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing medical research and innovation while continuously learning, improving, and applying valuable lessons for the benefit of our patients.

✨ Today, Talia Shoshan celebrates her Bat Mitzvah ✨
Talia was born 12 years ago in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Galilee Medical Center at just 30 weeks gestation, weighing only one kilogram.
This morning, before celebrating her Bat Mitzvah, Talia returned to the NICU with her father to say thank you to the team who cared for her during her earliest days ❤️
Seeing Talia today, healthy, smiling, and celebrating this special milestone, was an emotional moment for all of us.
Thank you, Talia and family, for coming back to share this meaningful moment with us. We were truly moved. ✨
