The team pooled the results of 29 studies involving nearly 18,000 participants. Some had acupuncture, some had “sham” acupuncture, and some didn’t have acupuncture at all. Overall, acupuncture RELIEVED PAIN by about 50%. The results were published in Archives of Internal Medicine.”

Health Tips From Dr. David
DEEP RELAXATION

A great holistic health practice to incorporate into your daily routine is deep relaxation.

-Lie on your back on a comfortable surface in a warm uncluttered room.
-Clear your mind and focus on slow, even, abdominal breathing through the nose.
-Imagine a waterfall of relaxing energy moving down from your head and face all the way down to the bottoms of your feet. Briefly pause at each area and let go, let all tension dissolve.

When thoughts arise return to the body part you are relaxing. Take the time to cultivate the exercise, it will bring relaxation, peace, joy and clarity.
