Which is exactly why our Team Leads from across the US gathered in one room, to take the mystery (and anxiety) out of communication.

Instead of abstract corporate theories, they dug into the real-world stuff:
figuring out their own default styles, learning how their teammates actually prefer to receive information, and practicing how to deliver clear, timely feedback that builds people up rather than shuts them down.

“I like reading about tech news, and when I saw online that Nova acquired Sentronics in Mannheim,
I thought a semiconductor facility sounded like a fascinating place to work.
I saw they had an opening for a dual-study student, applied, and joined the team.

Now I’m in a dual-study program in business administration at DHBW Mannheim.
That means three months at university studying economics, logistics, accounting, and marketing,
and then three months working here at Sentronics like any regular employee.
I’ve worked in logistics, procurement, and accounting, booking invoices,
helping with payment preparation, and trying to make my coworkers' daily work as easy as possible.
Moving between departments helps me see the bigger picture of how the whole company works, rather than just learning the theory in class.

What surprised me most was how warm and helpful everyone was from day one,
especially knowing it’s not always easy for a student to integrate into a company.

A very cool highlight was the company raffle held recently.
Several colleagues and I were lucky enough to receive tickets to a Rhein-Neckar Löwen handball game.
The catering and food were excellent, but the best part was getting the chance to meet and spend time with colleagues I hadn't had the opportunity to connect with before.”

Nothing says “we’ve officially arrived” quite like turning the brand-new hallway into a photo booth runway.
We had a great afternoon celebrating our "Moving Up" into House Laval.
Our Sentronics, a Nova Company, team gathered to celebrate the new space with a warm welcome toast from our GM Thomas, a ribbon cutting, and some well-deserved downtime together.
Desks may be split across two buildings now, but the vibe is strictly one team.

Receiving the Outstanding Employee Award came as a complete surprise.
I was shocked at first, and then I became a little nervous when I realized I would be meeting people from so many different countries.
But I didn't need to worry since everyone were welcoming from the very first day.
As the trip went on, we got to know each other better and better.
I especially enjoyed learning about different cultures and meeting colleagues from places I had never visited before.
One of my favorite moments was our speedboat excursion which was very exciting.
I truly liked that we got to spend time together, share incredible experiences, and create memories.
It felt less like a company trip and more like being part of a big family.
For me, that's what makes this recognition so special- I had the opportunity to connect with people and build friendships across the world.”

“After 15 years in procurement, transitioning to the sales side of the semiconductor industry felt like a natural next step.

“One of the biggest lessons I've learned has nothing to do with engineering.
When I joined Sentronics, a Nova Company, I thought I was coming here to build machines,
solve technical challenges, and learn more about the semiconductor industry.
Which I did but somewhere along the way, something unexpected happened.

I started discovering the people behind the engineers.
Not in meetings or technical discussions, but during the moments in between.
At our family summer fest, during the company run, over dinners and during the great breakfasts we share in the office.
These conversations had nothing to do with customers, deadlines, or physics.
The colleague I only knew from technical discussions became someone I was laughing with over dinner.
Someone I thought was very serious turned out to be incredibly warm.
Colleagues from different countries became the people teaching me about their culture, their food, and even a few words in their language.

I realized how easy it is to form an opinion about someone when all you know is the version of them sitting in a meeting room.
Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation outside of work to see a completely different person.”
