Vanessa Trump appears vibrant, healthy, energetic, and beautiful at 48, and this week she shared that she is undergoing treatment for . Like many women, her story immediately sparked discussions online, including within the breast implant illness and explant communities.

I think it’s important to approach these conversations with compassion, wisdom, and responsibility. While we do know that BIA-ALCL is a recognized cancer associated with breast implants and the capsule surrounding them, it is not the same as breast cancer. Breast cancer itself is multifactorial, with many possible contributing risk factors including genetics, hormones, lifestyle, environmental exposures, inflammation, immune health, stress, and yes, potentially foreign devices in the body as one piece of a much larger puzzle.

As someone deeply involved in women’s wellness, healing, and recovery advocacy, I believe we should avoid rushing to conclusions or making blanket statements without understanding the full medical picture. Every woman’s body and journey are unique.

What I can say with certainty is that I am sending Vanessa Trump, and every woman facing breast cancer, prayers for strength, healing, and a full recovery. And personally, I do believe that when facing significant illness, reducing inflammatory burden and removing unnecessary foreign devices from the body may help support the immune system and overall healing process. These are deeply personal medical decisions that should always be made carefully with experienced physicians and informed guidance.

Most importantly, this is a reminder for women to stay proactive with their health, ask questions, monitor their bodies, and advocate for themselves with knowledge and empowerment.

Hair shedding can happen for many reasons — hormonal changes, stress, seasonal shifts, nutritional deficiencies, medications, post surgery or simply changes within the body. And before getting overwhelmed by all the products online and the confusing information, it’s important to remember that healthy hair starts from within.

One of the first things I personally focus on is nutrition and circulation. Green juices can be incredibly supportive, especially when they include sunflower sprouts, which are rich in enzymes, antioxidants, chlorophyll, minerals, and B vitamins that nourish the body and support healthy hair. Increasing oxygenation and circulation to the scalp and hair follicles is also essential.

Healthy fats matter too. Omega-3s help nourish the scalp and support overall hair quality. A couple of tablespoons of flaxseed oil daily can be very beneficial.

Topically, many women find support from natural oils like rosemary oil, castor oil, and even sunflower oil, which has recently gained attention online for supporting scalp health.

Most importantly, focus on creating balance within the body — reducing inflammation, supporting detoxification naturally, eating mineral-rich foods, staying hydrated, and nourishing yourself consistently. Healthy hair is often a reflection of overall wellness.
