Students at Deepti Special School and Deepti Vocational Training Centre celebrated National Reading Day on 19th June 2026. Ms. Prema S Das, Retd Headmistress, CSI HSS for Partially Hearing, Manakala, was the chief guest for this program. Students also brought books from their home as part of a class-wise reading initiative.

We are proud to be part of the World Environment Day celebrations at Deepti Special School & Rehabilitation Centre, Manakala, where Adoor MLA Advocate Shri C.V. Santhakumar planted a sapling on our campus on 5th June 2026.

Students also planted trees at Deepti Vocational Training Centre, Chennampally; Deepti Child Development & Counselling Center, Manakala; and Little Flower Montessori & Pre-School, Manakala.

Trees are the foundation of a healthier and greener future—every tree planted today is a step towards a better tomorrow.

Classes for the 2026–2027 academic year began at Deepti Special School, Manakala, Adoor and Deepti Vocational Training Centre, Chennampallil, Adoor on June 1, 2026. Pastor Febin Bose Kuruvila prayed and inaugurated activities for the new academic year. Rev. Sam Varghese presided over the meeting.

On 19th February 2026 Deepti Special School in collaboration with Karunya Eye Hospital, Adoor, conducted a free eye care medical camp. Students from Deepti Special School, Deepti Vocational Training Centre, Deepti Montessori and many parents and staff used this camp to test their eye sight and received advice.
