On 23/4/2026, Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad, in collaboration with IAP Tripura Branch & State IAP Women Cell, proudly organized a successful CME Program at Agartala on Orthopaedic Advances and the Expanding Role of Physiotherapy in Rehabilitation.

The program brought together Physiotherapists, academicians, clinicians, and healthcare professionals under one roof for an enriching session of knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development.

On 7th February, The IAP Tripura and Ramkrishna Mission School successfully conducted a Mega Physiotherapy Health & Awareness Camp at Ramakrishna Mission School, Viveknagar.

We sincerely thank the school authorities, IAP Tripura office bearers, physiotherapists, volunteers, and all participants for their valuable cooperation and enthusiastic involvement.

Together, we continue to spread awareness towards preventive healthcare and active living.

Gratitude & Celebration of Unity, bonding & togetherness – Physio Unity Cup 2026

On 26/1/2026, marks a truly memorable and historic moment for the physiotherapy fraternity of Tripura as we successfully organized the long-awaited Physio Unity Cup – Season 1, under the noble initiative of Physio Unity Fest 2026.

On this proud occasion of Republic Day, the spirit of unity, discipline, and teamwork resonated strongly making the celebration even more meaningful 🇮🇳.

THREE dedicated teams of physiotherapy professionals from Tripura came together with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship:
🏏TEAM PHYSIO STRIKERS, led by Dr. Rajan Choudhury PT (Captain)
🏏TEAM PHYSIO PANTHERS, led by Dr. Somya Bhattacharjee PT (Captain)
🏏TEAM PHYSIO TITANS, led by Dr. Bijay Debnath PT (Captain)

Each team played two competitive matches against one another, showcasing not only skill and determination but also mutual respect and camaraderie. The tournament culminated in a thrilling and nail-biting FINAL MATCH between PHYSIO TITANS and PHYSIO PANTHERS.

After an intense and exciting contest, TEAM PHYSIO PANTHERS emerged as the CHAMPIONS 🎉🏆 of the Physio Unity Cup – Season 1, held at TMC Ground.

Heartiest congratulations to the champions and sincere appreciation to all teams for making this event a grand success.

The tournament commenced in the morning with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and patriotism. The event was graciously inaugurated by Shri Swapan Saha, IAS (Retd.), CEO, TMC & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, followed by the introduction of players and the ceremonial inaugural shot.

We extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to our honorable inaugurator, all team captains, players, organizers, supporters, and everyone who contributed directly or indirectly to the smooth and successful ex*****on of this event.

This tournament was not just about cricket; it was a celebration of unity, professional bonding, and collective strength of physiotherapists. May this be the beginning of many more such milestones together.
