Charaka Jayanti 2026 was celebrated at Naiminath Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Agra, with great respect for the timeless teachings and contributions of Acharya Charaka to Ayurveda.

The programme included an introduction to Charaka Samhita and its relevance in Ayurveda, followed by Shloka Parayana, with the recitation of important Shlokas from Charaka Samhita. An insightful lecture on the Clinical Application of Charaka Samhita Sutrasthana was also conducted. The programme concluded with Charak Shapath, where participants took a pledge to follow the teachings and values of Acharya Charaka.

Naiminath Ayurvedic Medical College, Agra, successfully conducted a National Webinar on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) on 7th August 2026, organized by the Department of Rog Nidan Evam Vikriti Vigyan.
The session, “COPD: An Ayurvedic Concept, Its Pathophysiology and Its Course of Treatment,” was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Awasthi.
