In this video, we take you behind the scenes to show how authentic handmade therapeutic singing bowls are created — not by machines, but through deep skill, patience, heat, rhythm, and human effort.
The journey begins with carefully measured metals, prepared in specific quantities and formed into metal plates. These plates are then heated in a furnace until they become workable. After that, skilled artisans manually beat the heated plates again and again, slowly shaping them into bowls.
Once the bowl form is created, the real therapeutic refinement begins. Through precise hand-hammering, compressed overtones are generated, allowing the bowl to develop its unique sound, vibration, and healing resonance.
The bowl then goes through buffing, where unnecessary parts are removed and the surface is refined. This helps create the right frequencies, vibrations, and tonal quality. Finally, the bowl is polished or finished to bring out its beautiful shine and aesthetic look.
This is not a simple process. Handmade therapeutic bowls are extremely labor-intensive. In one full day, four skilled artisans can make only around five to seven bowls.

In contrast, machine-made bowls are produced using dies and machines, where thousands can be made in a single day. But handmade therapeutic bowls are created slowly, consciously, and with great craftsmanship.
