૬૫ વર્ષની મહિલાને લાંબા સમય સુધી ગરદન અને હાથનો દુખાવો અને ચાલવામાં મુશ્કેલીની તકલીફ રહેતા હોસ્પિટલની મુલાકાત લીધી.

Xray / MRI સાથે પ્રાથમિક તપાસમાં ગરદન ગરદનના પેહલા અને બીજા મણકા વચ્ચે તક્લીફ હોવાનું જણાયું. મગજના ભાગમાં હાડકાને લીધે દબાણ થતું હતું. (C1-C2 instability with Basilar Invagination)

ડો. અનિલ સોલંકી દ્વારા દર્દી અને સગાને પૂરતી સમજણ આપવામાં આવી ઓપરેશનની સલાહ આપવામાં આવી.

ગરદનના મણકા/ગાદીનું ઓપેરશન..
Cervical Spine Surgery - ACDF

ગરદનના ભાગે મણકા અને ગાદીની પાછળના ભાગે જતી નસ પર લાંબો સમય દબાણ રહેવાથી (Chronic spinal cord compression) હાથ-પગ માં ખાલી કે કમજોરી રેહવી, ચાલવામાં બેલેન્સ ના રેહવું, હાથમાં વસ્તુ પકડવામાં મુશ્કેલી થવી, પેશાબનો પૂરતો કંટ્રોલ ના રેહવો જેવી સમસ્યા થઇ શકે છે. નસના ભાગે સતત દબાણ રહેવાથી નસને નુકશાન થઇ શકે અને દર્દી ધીમે ધીમે પથારીવશ થવાની શક્યતા રહેતી હોય છે. સમયસર નિદાન અને સારવારથી દર્દીની સારવાર થઇ શકે છે. ડૉક્ટર ની સલાહ પ્રમાણે અમુક કિસ્સામાં ઓપરેશનની જરૂર રહેતી હોય છે.

આજના સમયમાં આ ઓપેરેશન આધુનિક સાધનો થી કરી શકાય છે, જેના ઉપયોગ થી ઓપરેશન વખતે નસને નુકશાન નુકસાન થતું અટકાવી શકાય અને ઓપરેશન બાદ પેરાલીસીસનું જોખમ નિવારી શકાય.
