From Sense India to the world, two stories of inclusion.
We are happy to share that two articles written by members of Sense International India have been featured in the latest edition of the Deafblind International Review (DbI) the magazine of Deafblind International.
Sachin Rizal writes about how sports can be so much more than recreation. Through Sense India's journey, the article explores how accessible sports are helping persons with deafblindness and multiple disabilities build confidence, strengthen social connections and discover new possibilities.
Shrutilata Singh shares the story of the Udaan Fellowship Programme—an initiative that is creating pathways to independence by nurturing leadership, skills, livelihoods and self-belief among persons with deafblindness.
Congratulations to Sachin Rizal and Shruti for sharing these experiences with the global deafblind community. We hope these stories spark conversations, inspire new ideas, and encourage more inclusive practices across the world.
