Shalby Hospitals marked a significant milestone in surgical care with Gujarat’s first tele-robotic bariatric surgery.

The surgeon was in Gurugram at SS Innovations International Inc.'s Headquarters.
The patients were at Shalby Hospital, SG Highway, Ahmedabad.

Nearly 1,000 km apart.
And in a single day, three patients underwent tele-robotic bariatric surgery at Shalby Hospital, SG Highway, Ahmedabad.

Led remotely by Dr. Parag Patel, Consultant Laparoscopic, Robotic, Bariatric & Gastrointestinal Surgeon, and supported by the bedside surgical and clinical teams in Ahmedabad, the procedures were performed using the SSI Mantra 3 robotic surgical platform.
