✨ MYTH BUSTED: Glutathione Tablets = Instant Glow? Not Quite.
Many people believe that simply taking oral glutathione supplements will directly brighten the skin. The science is a little more complicated.
🔹 Your body already produces glutathione naturally — one of the body's most important antioxidants, produced primarily in the liver and utilized throughout the body.
🔹 Oral glutathione has very very poor bioavailability. A substantial portion may be broken down during digestion before reaching circulation. For example, from a 500 mg oral dose, only a fraction may ultimately become available to the body, depending on the formulation and individual factors.
🔹 Your body naturally maintains a large internal glutathione pool and continuously produces and recycles glutathione every day. This is why supporting your body's own glutathione system can be just as important as supplementation itself.
🔹 Injectable glutathione generally provides higher bioavailability because it bypasses the digestive system. However, injections are not a permanent solution, often require repeated administration to maintain effects, and should only be used under proper medical supervision.
🔹 The smarter long-term approach is supporting your body's own glutathione production through proper nutrition, liver health, quality sleep, exercise, adequate protein intake, and nutrients involved in glutathione synthesis.
🌿 True wellness isn't about forcing more glutathione into the body.
It's about helping your body create, recycle, and maintain the glutathione it naturally needs.
Don't just consume glutathione. Support glutathione production.
