Seeing an elderly loved one in severe pain that even hospital IV medications can’t control is heartbreaking.
Yesterday, we had the privilege of helping an 86-year-old grandmother who was facing exactly that. With advanced spinal degeneration and scoliosis, everyday movement had become an agonizing challenge.
She is a long-term patient of ours, having visited us thrice over the last 5 years. Every time we have performed a targeted spine intervention for her, she has enjoyed over a year of wonderful pain relief and independent mobility.
Advanced age or complex spinal curvature (like scoliosis) doesn’t mean you have to live with unbearable pain. Minimally invasive interventional pain management can precisely target the root cause of the pain, offering a safe alternative when medications fail.
