Airway-compromising neck mass — timely surgery saves life

A 65-year-old female presented with a large midline neck mass (10×13 cm) causing significant tracheal compression and progressive breathlessness.

With careful preoperative planning and meticulous surgical ex*****on, complete excision was achieved while preserving the airway and adjacent vital structures.

👉 Key message for colleagues:
Airway-risk neck lesions should be referred early. Delays can lead to sudden airway compromise and life-threatening emergencies.
