A case of Conjunctivitis treated well with HOMOEOPATHY.
A Male patient aged 25 called me to enquire about if i could help him with itchiness in his eyes . Received more detailed and associated symptoms on further probing along with the picture of the eyes presenting the redness of conjuctiva.
Well treated with minimal doses of Homoeopathic medicine.
Eyes are supposed to be our window to the world.
Eyes differ from some other organs of our body since they are directly exposed to the environment and hence have a high chance of catching infections. Hence, it becomes important to take care of our eyes.
Conjunctivitis or pink eye is an infection, affecting the conjunctiva of the eye.When inflammation or swelling of the conjunctiva occurs, the color of the eyes turns red or pinkish, thereby indicating an infected condition called conjunctivitis. As we all are well aware of its increasing prevalence nowadays.
Symptoms of Conjunctivitis:
(i) Red or pink coloration in the white area of the eye
(ii) The swelling of the conjunctiva
(iii) Itching or burning sensation in the eye
(iv) Feeling of foreign body entrapped inside the eye
(v) An increased tear formation
(vi) The discharge of pus
(vii) Crusting of eyelids, particularly after a long sleep.

*Patients with conjunctivitis should not touch or rub their eyes with their hands.
*Patients with conjunctivitis should wash their hands frequently to keep them disinfected.
*Not to share towels, handkerchief, pillow cover, bedsheet with other people who can come in contact with the patient.
*Avoid using cosmetics.
*Completely stop wearing contact lenses till you recover from conjunctivitis completely.
*Do not share your spectacles and sunglasses with others.
*Avoid direct eye contact with people during the disease phase.
