A home urine pregnancy test can be reliable when used correctly, but timing and testing method matter. Use first-morning urine, avoid drinking excessive water before the test, and ideally test from the day after your missed period.

Two clear lines generally indicate pregnancy. If the second line is faint, repeat the test after 48 hours and consult your gynaecologist if needed.
