Your evening tea could be more than just a comforting drink.

From fennel and ginger to turmeric, cinnamon, rose and ashwagandha, herbal teas are often included in women's wellness routines for different traditional and nutritional purposes.

But here's the important part:

There isn't one “best” tea for every woman.

Your choice should depend on what you're actually trying to support, your overall diet and lifestyle, and your individual health needs.

Hera are 8 herbal teas commonly associated with women's wellness, from digestive support and relaxation to metabolic and general health considerations.

If you're exploring Ayurveda for women's health, PCOS/PCOD, hormonal health, digestion or everyday wellness, save this list for later.

And remember, herbal teas are not a replacement for prescribed treatment, especially if you have an existing health condition or take regular medication.

Which one is already part of your routine: ginger, fennel, turmeric or cinnamon?

Your migraine did not start this morning. It started with something you did yesterday.

Three triggers show up again and again in practice.

Sleep that keeps shifting. Not less sleep, irregular sleep. Same for meals eaten at a different time every day.

Acidity. When digestion stays disturbed, the discomfort often does not stay in the stomach. It can travel up and show as head pain.

Dehydration. Most people are drinking far less than their body weight asks for, and they never connect it to the headache.

In Ayurveda, migraine is described as Ardhavabhedaka, with Vata playing a central role in how the pain behaves.

Shirodhara can support migraine management, but the triggers have to be worked on alongside it.

Save this. Then check which of the three is yours.

3 Things To Avoid Knee Surgery....

11/09/2026

Dieting. Going to the gym. Changing your lifestyle. So why isn't the weight coming off?

For many women with PCOD/PCOS, weight loss can feel frustrating even when they're genuinely trying.

And that's where an important question comes in:

Could there be more going on than just calories and exercise?

PCOD can be associated with irregular periods, weight gain and insulin resistance, which is why simply trying to “eat less and exercise more” may not address every factor involved.

In this video, Dr. Amita Abrol explains the Ayurvedic perspective on PCOD, metabolism and weight management, and discusses how factors such as menstrual irregularity and insulin resistance may be considered during assessment.

She also talks about Ayurvedic formulations traditionally used in PCOD management, including Kachnar Guggul, Arogyavardhini Vati and Shokarishta.

If you're dealing with PCOD weight gain, irregular periods or difficulty losing weight, don't just focus on the number on the scale. Understand the bigger picture and get properly assessed.

And one important point: never stop prescribed medication on your own. If you're taking hormonal pills or other treatment for PCOD/PCOS, discuss any changes with your treating doctor.

Save this if you're trying to understand PCOD and weight loss.

Does your pigmentation disappear with creams but come back as soon as you stop? Then don't look only at the pigmentation — understand what may be triggering it

You apply a cream.

The pigmentation fades.

You stop using it…

And after some time, the dark spots are back.

Sound familiar?

Pigmentation and blemishes can have different contributing factors.

In this video, Dr. Amita Abrol discusses factors such as:

→ Sun and UV exposure
→ Marks left after acne
→ Hormonal factors
→ Diet and lifestyle
→ The Ayurvedic concepts of Pitta and Rakta Dushti

From an Ayurvedic perspective, the approach is not only about the visible pigmentation. It also considers the individual's Prakriti, diet, lifestyle and overall health pattern.

This is why simply covering or repeatedly treating a dark spot may not always address why it keeps appearing.

If you're dealing with facial pigmentation, acne marks, dark spots or recurring blemishes, first understand what may be contributing to your skin changes.

And remember: pigmentation can have many causes. Persistent or changing pigmentation deserves proper assessment rather than self-treatment alone.

For personalised Ayurvedic guidance, you can explore an online or in-person consultation with Dr. Amita Abrol.

Heart attack or acidity? Some heart attack symptoms are easy to mistake for a stomach problem.

You feel suddenly uneasy.

You start sweating heavily.
You feel nauseous.
Maybe you even vomit.

And the first thought is:

“It must be acidity.”

But some symptoms that look like a stomach problem can also occur during a heart attack.

Possible warning signs can include:

→ Profuse sweating
→ Nausea or vomiting
→ Pain spreading to the left arm
→ Chest pain or pressure
→ Unusual discomfort or uneasiness

The important part isn't trying to diagnose yourself from one symptom.

It's knowing when not to ignore what's happening.

If you suspect a heart attack, seek emergency medical care immediately. Don't wait for the pain to become unbearable, and don't rely on a normal BP or oxygen reading to decide that everything is fine.

Every minute matters in a suspected cardiac emergency.

This video is for awareness and should not replace emergency medical evaluation.

Thyroid Medicine For Life? What One Patient's TSH Reports Showed

A patient came to my OPD after being told by every doctor they had seen that thyroid medication would be needed for life.

In this video I am showing their T3, T4 and TSH reports from before and after, rather than only describing what happened.

A NOTE ON THYROID CARE
Thyroid presentations are not one condition. Autoimmune thyroiditis, post viral thyroiditis, subclinical elevation and Agni related imbalance behave very differently and cannot share a single protocol. What worked for this patient was designed for this patient after assessment.

Please do not stop or change any prescribed thyroid medication on your own. Bring your reports to a consultation and let us review them together.

Every doctor this patient had seen told them the same thing. Thyroid medicine, for life.

They came to my OPD anyway.

We started a course of Ayurvedic medicine. After 15 days they stopped, waited another 15 days, and repeated their T3, T4 and TSH. Those reports are on screen in this video.

I am showing you the reports rather than describing them, because in thyroid care the numbers are the only honest evidence.

One case is not a rule. Autoimmune thyroiditis, post viral thyroiditis and Agni related imbalance are not the same condition and cannot share one protocol.

Please do not stop any prescribed thyroid medication on your own. Bring your reports and let us look at them together.

Share this if someone in your family has been told the same thing.

Individual results may vary. Please consult a qualified practitioner.
