He has done Senior Residency from Delhi State cancer Institute (DSCI) Delhi. Dr Owvass Hamied Dar has presented a paper on role of Ultrasound elastography in BREAST lesions at Seoul, South Korea.

He has also presented a paper on Role of ultrasound in eye diseases in South Korea and has more than 10 publications on USG/ CT Scans/ MRI. He has specialization In CT Scan and MRI reporting with wide experience. He has specialization in Image guided FNAC, Biopsies, Drainage procedures and Percutaneous Nephrostomies (PCN).
